TRANSEARCH strengthens its presence in Munich

TRANSEARCH International continues its course of expansion by strengthening its presence in Munich. TRANSEARCH now offers even more high-calibre experts in all areas of executive search and management assessment in Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Bielefeld and Munich. Dr Carlo Mackrodt now heads the Munich office in his capacity as Managing Partner. His team is enhanced by two highly competent consultants, Claire Floreani and Dr Joerg Elias, with longstanding experience in the industry and in international executive search. This ensures a broader coverage of industries and positions. Carlo Mackrodt has also been appointed Managing Partner of TRANSEARCH International Germany. He will fill this role in conjunction with Ulrich F Ackermann, who has held the position since 1996.
 
Dr Carlo Mackrodt (58), studied mechanical engineering, specialising in application and production engineering, before completing his doctorate in casting technologies, also earning a degree in business administration in parallel. Key milestones in his 30-year career include research and development in the science of materials and processing, and top-level management consulting as a Member of the Executive Board of A.T. Kearney, specialising in restructuring, operations and global sourcing. He was later an executive board member of an internet start-up, and subsequently held global leadership positions in finance, supply chain and production at Henkel. He was most recently a partner at Rochus Mummert, which he joined in 2011. His areas of consulting specialisation include chemicals, mechanical engineering, the automotive and supplier industry, as well as the high-tech and IT industries. He brings diverse consulting and leadership experience to all functions throughout the value chain, especially in sales, supply chain management, strategic procurement, production and corporate finance. Dr Mackrodt’s career has led him to various locations in Italy, France, the US, Brazil and Sweden. 
 
Dr Joerg Elias (53) is a professor at the University of Applied Sciences Munich and, alongside his academic duties, supports the Munich office with his longstanding industrial experience. He has a doctorate in aerospace engineering and, parallel to his role as an industry and strategy consultant at A.T. Kearney, he also gathered leadership experience in the automotive industry; working in Germany, as well as various locations in Austria, Sweden and the US. In addition, he gathered six years of experience in executive search at Egon Zehnder. He offers extensive knowledge as a top management consultant, with experience in a diversity of leadership positions in the automotive and supplier industry, and the food packaging industry. His areas of consulting specialisation include development, production, procurement, supply chain management, quality assurance and HR. 
 
Claire Floreani (54), studied entrepreneurship at the HEC Paris. She has held various marketing and sales positions at Unisys, Valoris Consulting and Lafarge Aluminates in France. She not only has an impressive record of line management experience in the IT and telecommunications industries but has also spent twelve years at TRANSEARCH International. She started her career at TRANSEARCH International in Paris before spending several years at the TRANSEARCH offices in Toronto, Miami and Washington. Now based in Munich, she will utilise her comprehensive experience in the consumer goods, retail, telecommunications and IT industries.
