Juan Riestra Joins TRANSEARCH in Spain
Juan Riestra recently joined the TRANSEARCH office in Madrid.
He brings extensive experience in the renewable energy and capital goods sectors. He has held management responsibilities mainly focused on business development and sales, seeking new business lines, investment projects, and new markets inside and outside Spain. He has a clear orientation to people with whom he establishes a close relationship, which favors solid and fruitful trust relationships.
Prior to joining TRANSEARCH, he has worked as Business Development Director at Alten Energías Renovables for 7 years developing large-scale photovoltaic projects in Europe, Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa. In addition, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of various national associations in the energy sector (UNEF and SREC). Prior to his time in the energy sector, he worked for more than 8 years in Volvo's heavy machinery division as Regional and Commercial Director.
Juan has a degree in Business Administration from San Pablo CEU University. He also completed a master's degree in digitisation and E-commerce (MIB) at ISDI. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
