The Tuesday Club. Women and Leadership.
The Malaysian German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MGCC) regularly organises events under the banner of The Tuesday Club, and on the 8th of March being International Women's Day, the Tuesday Club joined in the world's celebration of women's achievements and the reinforcement of women's equality.
Bias continues to hold women from climbing the leadership ladder, especially in the workplace, and MGCC's Board of Directors discussed the key actions companies should take to enable the process of having more women on board and explore the advantages of having women in leadership positions.
Anne Abraham, the Founder and Chair of LeadWomen and a recognised thought leader in diversity and inclusion, moderated this discussion with guests Wendy Lau (Managing Director, TRANSEARCH Malaysia), and Geetha Kandiah (Director, KASS International).
